Delivery of a Digital Terrain Model for a Mining Infrastructure Project

GeoExplorer Services delivered a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) covering 65 hectares this week as part of a preliminary mining infrastructure site study.

Deliverables:

• A 5 cm resolution DTM

• A georeferenced orthophotograph

• Volume calculations for three existing storage areas

The survey was completed in a single day of flight, despite moderate wind conditions in the late morning, thanks to shifting the flight schedule to the early hours.

This deliverable will serve as the baseline for site location studies for future facilities, replacing topographic data that was over ten years old.
